Author of ‘Day By Day’

I pepper the book with some truths that will make you giggle (like when I was flirting with one of my brain surgeons high on morpheme) to heartwarming moments from strangers (security guard getting on their hands and knees to get the quarter I dropped under the vending machine, because I couldn’t reach from my wheelchair).
Pardon the tacky name drop, but Simon Kendall of THE Canadian Classic Rock Band 'Doug and the Slugs' even wrote the foreword!
I’ve never tried to market my book for big sales for a couple of reasons.

Admittedly it bothers me feeling like my life is condensed into a something affordable if only for your entertainment. I’d rather not be known as ‘that brain tumour girl’, but hey, this is also got to where I proudly am.

The other reason is simply because I’ve had a fear of being substantially or permanently cut off from the disability support I rely on to get by. I know I know, it’s not fair and most of us are financially suffering.. I refrain from complaining about it because surely I’d be dead if it wasn’t for the Canadian Health Care system to cover all my treatments, check ups and my BRAIN SURGERY. Ummm…. Thank YOU fellow tax payers !:)
